Click on Wave Banks, on the wave bank file, and under compression preset, select the compression set you’ve just made.ġ5. You will have to change the samplesperblock to 512 in the Windows box. NAME THE NEW PRESET THE SAME AS THE PROJECT.ġ2.Ĝlick on that preset that’ve you just made.ġ3. Okay, now we have to right click in compression preset, and make a new preset.ġ1. Insert the 00000 file we made/saved earlier.ġ0. Right click inside the empty space and select “Insert Wave File(s)”ĩ. Now you should see a window pop up on the right.Ĩ. Make sure the Wave Bank that was rewritten with the pac name was the one with the little orange symbol.ħ. INPUT THE NAME WHERE IT SAYS WAVE BANK THE SAME AS THE PROJECT. Now, open up XACT3, and on it, we right click on Wave Banks and we click on "New Wave Bank"Ħ. Name it & save it somewhere simple like your Documents folder, so it will be easier to find later.ĥ. You can label it anything you want, but I prefer digits.Ĥ. Name your newly created wav file (in this case) "00000", and save it somewhere, preferably in your Music folder. Save the music with the settings when you export it as: WAV, 48000Hz (in audacity, the option to switch Hz is in the bottom left), 16 Bit Stereo (2 Channels), PCM (Uncompressed)ģ.
Open Audacity and drag in or open the song that you want to use as custom BGM.Ģ.
